It is also used in poultry and animal nutritional feed supplement used in various formulations to prevent and/or correct copper deficiency in animals. It is a very good source of Copper in bio-available form.
It works in respiration, synthesis of hemoglobin, and production of collagen. It is also an antioxidant and helps prevent the oxidation of fatty acids.
